Christmas Card

Merry Christmas! We probably didn't send a card to you this year, but this is what we would have sent if we had:

Mostly true things about us:

Paul is using his three day weekends (work has slowed down) to paint jungle murals in Jacob's room and has founded the Children Understanding Scriptures through Performance (CUSP) Society.

Kristene enjoys the time she gets to go shopping by herself on Paul's three day weekends, has learned to make soap, bread, and small nuclear fusion reactors, and is working for a nonprofit organization for underprivileged children, especially four very special ones.

Rachel likes school, singing, dancing, soccer, piano, and taking long baths and is in the top 150th percentile of her 1st grade class and is reading on a 44th grade level.

Rebekah loves joy school, dance class, movies, and playing with friends, premiers for the Monte Carlo Ballet and does charity concerts for siblings and friends.

Jacob digs wrestling, swords, cereal, jungle animals, staying up late and waking up early, can solve 200-piece puzzles with one hand tied behind his back.

Greta feels good now that she's over colds, loves walking and unloading the silverware, was walking at just a few months old, is talking in complete sentences, and has begun research for her magnum opus on saliva and it's applications.

We had fun camping at the Grand Canyon, beach combing and surfing in California, skiing and hiking in the mountains, and Disneyland with Grandparents. We are creating a library of scripture story films on our blog: plattin.blogspot.com. Kristene's Dad passed away in March from a rare cancer. Even then blessings were poured out on us. We hope you are enjoying this Christmas season as much as we are!
